------------------ Plot & Thoughts ---------
Back To The Future is back with it's second instalment and this time Marty takes a trip into 2015. The plot starts right where the first instalment left off. Doc comes back in the time machine a whisks Jennifer and Marty of in the time machine saying they need to go to the future to sort out his kids. Immedietly as the movie starts it put me right back into the Back To The Future mode because the movie has the very same atmosphere as the original which I thought was superb because that is sometimes what squeals lack. The original cast reprise their roles so yes there is even more Michael J Fox to enjoy.
Marty realises when he goes to 2015 that his son will be arrested for a crime that Griff (Biff Tannen from the first movies son) pin him up to. In the future of 2015 it's like a blast from the past and his kids and friends and characters from the first movies kids act and look just they way they did. Marty sorts out his son and manages to stop him from being arrested but in an attempt to make his life back in 1985 more exciting he buys a sports results book from 1950-2000 in which he attempts to take back to 1985 with him. When he goes back to 1985 he realises that something has gone terribly wrong and his knew family consists of Biff and his mother Lorraine. When Doc catches him at the grave yard they he explains to him just how and what has happened. When he tells Marty that Biff took the book and made bets to gain his fortune and married his mother it's up to him to go back in time and stop it all from happening. The task proves harder than he thought when he goes back to 1955 and has to avoid his other self which is back in 1955 from the 1st movie.

The plot itself is very good and carries on straight where it left of which is good. I like that the plot has no missing pieces because when I think about the plot it's very complicated going from 1985 to 2015 then back to a new 1985 then back to the first movie 1955 and not forget anything which would throw off the whole plot.
I liked when Marty went to 2015 because it's weird what they actually showed in what now is just two years away. One thing I found funny was Jaws 19 was being released in the cinema which is funny because back when jaws was first released there used to be one every couple of years so I understand why they thought it would be a 19 by two years time. It's funny that the last one came out around the same time as this film and didn't actually continue.
I also thought is was amazing how they knew TV would be massive by this time, bosses could speak to you over a screen rather than calling you and Michael Jackson's music would still be legendary. It's quite funny that they thought cars would fly by now I thought that was a good touch although I doubt that would happen in just two years. In the 2015 period where Marty travelled was really amazing how much imagination was put into what this that time period it was quite funny to watch. Michael J Fox actual plays his future daughter which I thought was so funny although it was just a short part of the film.
I did feel as though when he did go to 2015 it felt like the 80s with futuristic things placed in it because they still dressed pretty much like 80s people.

I think with Back To The Future two it would have been really hard to even try a top the first plot because of how brilliant it was but I felt like the second film was a brilliant film but I felt like there a lot more action and just wasn't enough comedy and charm as the first movie. Compared to the first film it is a lot more fast pace because very little time is spent in each time period and they are all over the place unlike just steady in 1955 in the original film. I did like the pace of the film and it brought something different from the first film by doing a lot more time travelling.

-------------------------Overall----------------- --------
I think overall the movie was good and a decent sequel to the original Back To The Future. The acting is superb just like in the first movie which makes this second movie just as lovable in terms of the characters. The DVD is available to buy on Amazon new and used from 49p and worth every penny.

Summary: back to the future a second time
