Bad Boys, one on my favourite movies of all time.

The Characters:

The film revolves around Miami Detectives Mike Lowrey ( Will Smith - I am Legend, Hitch) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence - Black Knight, Blue Streak). Lowrey is a single, smooth talking, stylish and cocky but charming guy: He's rich and works as a cop as he enjoys the job. Burnett on the other hand is a down to earth guy married with wife and kids. He doesn't so much care about looking good and he's certainly no charmer; unlike Mike he only works as a cop to pay the bills. Both of then however have huge hearts and sure pack a punch! The on screen chemistry between the two contrasting characters is fantastic, and makes for some great scenes of comedy!

Joe Pantoliano plays there ever suffering boss, Captain C. Howard. Pantoliano plays the part brilliantly, and has great chemistry with Smith and Lawrence. Tea Leoni does a good job of playing Julie Mott and there is a great performance from Tcheky Karyo as villain Fouchet. Also look out for a good little part from Michael Imperioli (perhaps better known for playing Christopher in the Sopranos) who plays mechanic Jojo.

The Plot:

$100 million worth of seized heroin is dramatically stolen from the Miami Police lockup, it is down to Lowrry and Burnett (with a little pressure from Captain Howard!) to catch the guys responsible and get the goods back before the FBI shut their department down. Julie is their only lead in the case but will only speak to Lowrey: Some complications lead to Burnett having to pretend to be Lowrey and vice versa with some very funny consequences! The trio set about tracking down those responsible for stealing the drugs.

Some fantastic action sequences, witty and intelligent dialogue, drama, emotion, side splitting moments and a great soundtrack make for an incredible film! An action packed rollercoaster ride of a movie.

Mike Lowrey: - Oh, I see. You aren't gettin any at home, so you got a lot of extra energy. Go ahead, burn it off.
