Advantages: Jason Lee cameo!

Disadvantages: Everything

I wasnt really sure what to expect when I rented this DVD. I knew it was a comedy about a ping pong player but was unsure what direction it would take. I did not expect a homage to the late great Bruce Lee. You think a big Lee fan would have realised from the title (Fist of Fury) but alas no I did not.
So that you can picture the story a bit imagine "enter the dragon" and "the Bruce Lee story" told using ping pong and an annoying protagonist who is the complete opposite of Lee. For those who havnt seen any of the mentioed films I would definately consider seeing them to get the most of this movie.
Its quite a simple plot involving a shamed ping pong star who must get back to winning ways to help the FBI get evidance on a Triad member who holds a ping pong tournament once a year. You may be thinking here, hold on, that sounds awful. Well you would be bang on the money. Apart from a few cheap laughs this movie is terrible!
There are no big names apart from Christopher Walken who unfortunately looks so out of place any performance he may have given is overlooked. The other acters were nothing special and you forget them soon after! Watch out however for Jason Lee who is so much like Bruce that its upsetting for a fan!
Those of you that like your DVD extras you wont like the movie enough to watch them!
