 ... world... Characters: Bambi is adorable. WHen we first see him trying to walk with his tiny little unstable legs, its so laughable, it's cute. Thumber is sweet too: he's got lots of confidence and is very brave too! Skunk is actually a little scary as she appears suddenly quite frequently! All the characters are strong and well rounded, there is so much to explore with them and they are always surprising you. Suitability: This film is rated U (universal) but I disagree. Animal Disneys were always my favourite! I loved them all, from The Lion King to the Aristocats. Another I loved and watched all the time was Bambi! Plot: Bambi is the story of a little deer named Bambi! We see him as he learns to walk and adventures out away from his mum with his best friend Thumper, a rabbit, and with Flower too, who is a skunk. I remember the first time I ever saw Bambi, I was about eight and it was just about the saddest film I'd ever seen. Even now I'm all grown-up and have children of my own I must admit that certain scenes still bring a tear or three to my eye. I think out of all the Disney films it's my absolute favourite, and for a long time is was the only film that wasn't available on DVD. I was really disappointed with this, as I wanted my children to enjoy the film with me, but eventually it was released on a special edition DVD, which promised that it had been digitally restored with 5.1 sound.
