The first Basic Instinct was a sexy, smart, and slick thriller that was released in 1992, making a star out of gorgeous lead Sharon Stone. This film is just...i don't know what it is. It's...confusing...yes, confusing...normally i'd enjoy a cleverly written film with twists and turns and unexpected things but the only unexpected thing i encountered was the lack of an ending...and no, i wasn't asleep, i was very much awake... I havn't seen the original Basic Instinct and i don't know if this one is made easier to understand if you have but i genuingly just think Basic Instinct 2 is a muddle.
