I'm a big fan of the Batman films in general, so I find it hard to work out whether this is actually a 'good' film or not. Does the fact that I enjoyed the entertainment value of this film mean that it is good? Or that some of the special effects and over-glossy colours are particularly shoddy means it's bad? I suppose it harkens back to beauty being in the eye of the beholder. If you like this film, then you'll think it's good, if you didn't then it's not going to be on top of your Xmas wishlist. George Clooney takes on the role of Batman, Gotham's protector, and he has Chris O'Donnell as the ever annoying Boy Wonder Robin with him for the ride. With a whole ... Read the complete review

~~FILM ONLY REVIEW~~ This is the fourth film in the Batman series and it sees Batman working with his sidekick Robin. Things in Gotham City are going bad as Mr Freeze has decided he wanted to freeze the world so he can live comfortably in it. He is steeling diamonds from the museum so he can power his freeze suit when he first encounters Batman and as a fight ensure he does manage to get away. Over in another part of town a mad scientist has invented a venom which turns an ordinary man into a monster. He uses a criminal to test the venom on and as a result 'Venom' is created. The scientists assistant is disgusted by this and in her escape she ... Read the complete review

I am one of the biggest fans of the Batman franchise and am a big fan of Tim Burton's first two Batman films. Batman Forever was not too bad and Joel Schumacher stuck with the same style here for Batman and Robin. Starring Clooney, Schwarzenneger, O'Donnel, Thurman, Silverstone. It seems to have the cast for a top quality movie. However to say this movie is even anywhere near average would be a joke. I would put it in my bottom ten movies I have ever seen. It is not even one of those bad films that are still watch-able as they are funny. This is just plain awful. Released in 1997 and I apologize if my review goes a bit over the top, but believe me that this film is ... Read the complete review

Rating:
This film is the third in the series and the batman films, and in an attempt to appeal the mass audiences it uses a number of cheesy lines, costumes and bright colours to draw you in. Humor has been attempted to be put in but it backfires as the constant poor lines begin to make you cringe - In tiredness of the cliché. Batman is played decently by George Clooney where the actor could have been suited for the part-he certainly look it, but doesn't really seem to fit in this shambles. The storyline is solid enough, although not done very well. "Batman, Robin, and Batgirl must find a cure for Alfred's mysterious disease ... Read the complete review
