Advantages: Heath ledger as the joker was brillant

Disadvantages: Heath ledgers untimely death

This movie recieved a lot of press due to the untimely death of one of the leading actors Heath Ledger. Before the movie had even been released there was calls for an Oscar for Ledger.These calls and the hype where more that Justified as this was one of if not the best movie released in 2008.Ledgers potrayal of the joker was one of the best baddie roles ever seen in a movie and well worthy of his Oscar. the special effects, costumes, set, acting all combine to make this movie a very enjoyable and exciting show to watch.The movie is set towards the early part of batmans career and it is a lot darker and more gritier than some of batmans earlier screen outings.The movie is certainly a lot more viloent that I expected although it was not out of context with the overall telling of this story.I would recommend this movie to mainly guys but im sure a lot of girls would also enjoy it too.Its too violent for kids.

Summary: Brillant movie well worth owning
