This has to be one of my favourite films of all time. The latest Batman Film carries on from it's predeccessor: Batman Begins. The film has a brilliant storyline and is structured in a way so that you can't predict whats coming up. Heres a simple outline of the storyline;

The Dark Knight is set in Gotham City. The main characters are Batman/Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale), The Joker (Heith Ledger), Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) and Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gylenhaal). The film starts off with The Joker and co. robbing a bank. Soon later Harvey Dent becomes the new "DA" of Gotham City. From here on in, Batman is heavily involved in clearing up Gotham City. Throughout the film the Joker and Batman are constantly trying to get at each other. Harvey Dent being the DA doesn't know that Bruce Wayne (his friend) is the Batman for most of the film. Around half way through the film Harvey starts to go into a relationship with Rachel Dawes (Bruce's closest friend).

I won't go any further because it will wreck the film for those of you who haven't seen it already. Everything up above doesn't have any spoilers in it.

Overall I strongly recommend this film to anyone. Even if you think its just action packed rubbish, trust me its not. Well worth watching! Also just to put it out there that there is also a Bonus disc. This contains several features such as: behind the scenes, clips from the best parts of the film and more fun stuff to play about with.

Below is a list of the rest of the cast;
