THE STORY AROUND BATTLESTAR GALACTICA

Robot's named cylon's are meeting the human's for peace term's after an age old war,the meeting turn's out to be a trap with only 1 battle star named galactica escapeing (or so we thought till the tv serie's was released) the galactica has to run with with no chance of helping everyone on the planet's in the system,they only manage to gra a few thousand people sort of a rag tag fleet of old frighter's and transport ship's,the aptain aim's to take the battlestar as well as the ship's to a mystical place told in old story's named EARTH.

WHAT DID I THINK OF THE FILM

Everyone know's the story but i think it was brilliant,it was just like doctor who and the darlek's you knew if it was to happen for real the darlek's would have kicked the doctor's arse just like the cylon's would hammer the human's,
It's the age old fight knowing your going to be out gunned 5/1 but you still fight because your human and we dont like to loose anything ,we love are freedom to much and that's what this film is about,we dont like to take the easy way out we want to fight to become better than we are.,the acting in the film is a little poor to me it was allway's a poor man's starwar's but with a little more eye candy JANE SEYMOUR & LAURETTE SPANG,the film has lot's of humur which help the film to become a classic

This film went far beyond what it was originaly ment to do as a pilot it created a 2series plus created a further series as a spin off which is the story of star buck's child as a warrior as well as appolo's,as well as this, a new series of BATTLE STAR GALACTICA also started just 2 years ago which has done very well and is in its second series at the momment it truely shows that this film has past the test of time(with a few changes lol),there is also a lot of famous actors in this film that really do there best for the plot.

Well this has to be said the acting was'nt alway brilliant in this film and it was never worth an academy award,special effects were put into this from a film called TOWERING INFERNO as well to save cash in production,you also love to hate the CYLONS they were a brilliant idea,but due to there desiyn you could see dirty finger prints all over there body's as they walked which was'nt very profectional..

Anyone who like 's sci-fi will enjoy this specialy if they like the sci-fi chanel lol as it is a cheap budget pilot and not really a feacture film,you have got to watch this at least once every blue moon but it's great for the kid's
