Advantages: The greatest sci fi show ever seen - and it's not even all that sci fi!

Disadvantages: Why couldn't they keep it going...

Battlestar Galactica is a TV series which has redefined SciFi. No longer is it all about aliens and fancy phaser weapons - now it is humankind, in a struggle against an almost unbeatable enemy... and no, I don't mean the Cylons - I mean humanity itself.

This is the final season of BSG - something I'd have preferred to have never seen, but I guess the best things in life don't last.

Battlestar has become my favourite show of all time, far surpassing all in it's class. The acting, the scripts, the music by Bear McCreary - every iota of this show hits you slap bang in the heart, and like an old frind, you'll never really want to see it leave.

This is the final series.... a series panned by a lot of people - but forget them. If you love BSG, and you love the characters, you'll love the attention to detail that is given to each of them, and you will adore how they end up.

The greatest final season to any TV show i have ever seen!
