Advantages: Good drama
Disadvantages: Tough in places
This is a touching British film which certainly has some amusing moments but is also a great story about two boys falling in love on a tough South London estate, I must say that the two young lead actors produce two very mature performances which belies their relative youth.

Jamie played by Glen Barry is a fairly odinary young boy who does not like sport and so tends to play truant when it is games and is not very popular at school, he is rather different to Ste played by Scott Neal who lives next door and is a popular student and a good athlete.
His home life however is not so great and he gets abused physically and verbally by his father and so Jamie mothe allows him to stay with them and this is when a relationship begins to form between the two boys.
This is a tough film at times but also a very enjoyable one as well with some good performances. There is also a strong supporting cast with Meera Syal and Linda Henry as Jamie mum. There are some touching moments and the relationship beween the two boys is well handled as well.
One I would definately rcommend.
Summary: Moving love story between two teens.
