Advantages: happyily heart warming no thinking easy to watch goodness

Disadvantages: cheesy!!!

Once upon a time in a far away land somewhere on the outskirts of Glasgow, there lived a girl. Now this was no ordinary girl..this was a Princess and the Princess adored cheesey feel good movies. One day whilst out shopping with her Prince on their steed known as Astra they saw a poster for a film. Now this film looked to be everything the Princess adored about films but the Prince did not agree. The Prince obviously had no taste and he was very mean to the Princess and told her she could not go to the magic moving picture theatre to see it. So...the Princess sulked, she was a champion sulker infact there was not another person in the entire kingdom of Scotland that could sulk aswell as she and she was subborn with it!

So for nearly four months she continued to sulk until one day, after a very long hard day pretending to be a commoner in a place she called 'work', she arrived back at the palace to discover a shiny new dvd shaped present. She opened her present and discovered the cheesy feel good film that she had so longed to see those many months ago. She had a very busy night scheduled watching the funny talented, or talentless in some cases, people on a hit tv show but decided that she could not possibly wait any longer to watch her film. She placed the shiny disc in to the DVD drawer, snuggled under her royal duvet and waited for the magic to begin.

The pictures on the screen unfolded to tell the story of a poor young boy who loved nothing but adventure and imagination. His father owned a hotel and the young boy , Skeeter loved to play and make believe inside what he saw as his castle. One day and evil man came by and convinced Skeeters father that he had to sell his beloved hotel, the very hotel the he had one day hoped to pass down to the son he loved so much. His father made the evil man named...Nottingham....make a promise that one day his son would run the hotel.

Many years went by but the evil man did npot keep his promise and poor Skeeter was only allowed to work as a handyman at the hotel he loved. For 25 long years he fixed TV sets and changed lightbulbs. One day Skeeters sister called him round to her house and asked if he could kindly look after her offspring as she was soon to find herself with no means of making money and she was on a search for a new money making scheme (I believe they call these jobs)! Whilst away Skeeter and the mean lady who had befriended his sister, looked after the poor children who were deprived of a normal childhood due to their neurotic mothers obsession for wheatgrass and rice cakes. Skeeter taught the children about hamburgers, mashmallows and Television. He also taught them how to use their imaginations and told them wonderful bedtime stories. The children caught on quickly and soon started rewriting Skeeters stories adding in fantastic tales of raining gumballs and damsels in distress.

Soon Skeeter realises that the children can actually make their stories real life and he tries to abuse this new found power but it backfires on him. The children want their protagonist to be an honourable gentleman but Skeeter, being the protagonist himself, wished fame, fortune and such other shallow items as hot women!! Skeeter tries to manipulate the childrens stories but this never works!! He evtually realises he has no control and lets them finish his story. However, being the big cynic that he had grown up to be, he told these two poor children that there is no such thing as a happy ending changing their veiw of the wonderful stories and also poor Skeeters fate!!

In his quest to change his fate he gets his dream job, keeps his family and manages to bag the fairest maiden in all the land. Learning that infact happy endings are possible!! And they all lived happily ever after.....

....After watching the cheeseball fest unfold on her television the Princess felt all warm and happy inside and thpught to herslef what adifference it makes to watch films where people don't die, things don't blow up and there are no comic book characters!!! All in all she thought it was a wonderful family film full of nonsense and easy to watch. As she took the DVD from he player she noticed that the Prince had secretly been watching the magical film that he swore he would never watch and she smiled to herself happy in the knowledge hat he too deep down was a big sap!!!

.......................THE END.

Summary: Fabulously cheesy fairytale with that all important happy ending!
