Begotten (DVD)

Begotten is a 1991 experimental black and white film with a very abstract plot: God disembowels himself whereupon a woman, Mother Earth, emerges from his remains, engages in necrophilia with his corpse and becomes pregnant, wandering off into the desolate, empty wilderness before giving birth to a son, credited as 'The Son of Earth', who is bound in ropes by a sinister group of priest-like figures in long cowls, who then proceed to burn him alive.
