... it's probably important to point out that this is going to be enjoyed more by Ben 10 fans than by those who haven't really seen it before. Part of the magic of this is seeing the aliens from the cartoon given the special effects treatment to turn them into real life images and figures. The plot itself is rather tame, but follows the same sort of plot level that the cartoon series would have. The concept of Ben 10 has taken kids Tv by storm all over the world. The idea of a kid who finds and wears a watch that gives him the ability to change into one of 10 different aliens is quite clever, and no doubt one that every kid has dreamed of for years. But to put it into place as a cartoon series, and to make it work so well can have been no mean feat. Armed with the success, Alex Winter (of Bill & Ted fame) went ahead as director for a live action film version.
