Bend it like beckham is a film about a indian girl called jasminder (parmindar nagra) is a sikh girl who loves football she plays in the park with a friend called tony.
Her sister is getting married and a girl called juliet (kiera knightley) plays for local football team called hounslow harriet,
she offers jess to come and train with the club.
The coach joe an ex fooyball player but injured. He has doubts at the begining but after he see's her play he is amazed. He askes her to carry on coming training, yet her parents are not aware of what is happening. She stars playing matches and say's she has a summer job. She goes shopping and buy's football boots and gets caught. Jess goes to play football in germay and then almost kisses joe Juliet see's this and gets the wrong impression, they both like the coach and fall out. Her sister's wedding date is on the smae day as the final of her football match. Onthe wedding day and the final day an american scout comes to the match jess's dad lets her go to the final she scores the winning goal. Then she tells her mum at the house , she says that the scouts offered a scholarship in america and to play proffesionaly she goes and gets together with joe.
