This is a cult 1985 released teen black comedy movie in the style of classics like 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'. It was written and directed by Savage Steve Holland and stars a young John Cusack as a likeable loser arty-type highschool kid. The basic story is that Cusack's character Lane Meyer is dumped by his sweetheart Beth for the hunky over-achieving star of the school ski team. Lane has been basically obsessed with Beth since they started going out and his bedroom is plastered with her picture. His closet is packed with hangers in the shape of her head and shoulders too!
