As you may see from my profile picture I have a little Chihuahua of my own. her name is Pippa and I love her to bits. i go a bit gooey about all things Chihuahua related, and just watched this the other day on Sky Movies Box Office, as it has just started to get screened there. I would have went to the Cinema to see this, but everyone said I was sad for wanting to go see a U certificate Disney film, and I guessed the cinema would be filled with little kids and parents as well, none of which category I fit into! There is some Computer Generated parts in this film, but it isn't a cartoon or anything, it is a proper film. There is obviously voice overs (What you ... Read the complete review

I like children's films and dogs any size or shape so this film was on my 'to watch' list as I knew it would be light hearted and funny, to an extent. The film was only released last year (2008) and runs for 91 minutes and I must admit you will be glued to your seat the whole time. As it's a children's film there is quite a lot that goes on and story although simple is also complex. The UK rating for this film is: PG. The Cast ~~~~~~~~~ Drew Barrymore - Chloe (voice) Andy Garcia - Delgado (voice) George Lopez - Papi (voice) Cheech Marin - Manuel (voice) Paul Rodriguez - Chico (voice) Edward ... Every parent with young children is , from time to time, forced to watch something that really doesn't appeal to them in the hope of keeping the kids happy, or even better, quiet for a bit . It was on one of my daughters particularly energetic noisy days that I decided to watch this film, using the movies on demand feature of my virgin media box. The story centres on Chloe, a pampered pet Chihuahua- and I do mean pampered. She wears little booties to protect her feet, eats only the finest food and has a fashionable outfit for every occasion. She lives in a mansion, where she is cossetted by her owner Viv. However, when Viv goes on holiday, Chloe is ... Read the complete review

This movie was being shown a couple of months back at my local Vue cinema as part of their weekend morning "Kids A.M" club. Total cost of admission for me and the 3 little darlings I took with me was just £3.40. So, even though I had read some quite scathing comments written about this movie having taken quite a bit of money and being at the top of the cinema charts in America for a couple of weeks despite being of questionable quality, I thought it was too good a bargain to turn down. So, we got to the cinema about a minute late. It was packed and noisy but that was not exactly unexpected. We sat down and I prepared myself for a little bit of tedium ... Read the complete review

When the Beverly Hills Chihuahua trailer was first released about a year ago, hated swept across the Internet, with many (myself included) believing it to be one of the worst looking films of all time. Despite some surprisingly good reviews, it still wound up in the IMDB's Bottom 100 due to people voting it without actually seeing it. This is by no means a good film, but it's far better than you'd reasonably expect. Vivian Ashe (Jamie Lee Curtis) leaves her pet chihuahua Chloe (voiced by Drew Barrmore) with her irresponsible niece Rachel (Piper Perabo, in her first starring role in seemingly ages). However, Rachel embarks on a trip to Mexico with her friends, ... Read the complete review
