When Beverley Hills cop first came out at the cinema is was one of the first of its kind with fast talking Eddie Murphy in the staring role and one of the best ever sound tracks to accompany a film.

Murphy plays Axel Folie a Chicago cop who winds up in Beverley Hills whilst investigating the murder of one of his friends. Murphy is made for the role of the unforgettable Axel F and takes over a vacant Beverley Hills mansion as his temporary home away from home.

Axel F goes on to antagonise the Beverley Hills police department and ends up being escorted of the city. However our hero prevails and solves the crime thus bringing credit to the Chicago police force. I highly recommend this movie for both Eddie Murphy and the brilliant sound track.


Maybe a bit too much violence an swearing but an all round classic.
