Advantages: Very good film

Disadvantages: Predictable

I went to see this film about two days ago. Walking up to the cinema I was a bit worried about going to see it. From what some of my mates had told me I thought it was going to be a bit pathetic and not worth going to see.
I sat down with my drink and popcorn.
The embarrassment starting setting in. There could have only been about 20 people sitting down in the room and all of them were over 70 years of age. I then suddenly thought that I might have been in the wrong room but found out that I wasn't.

As the curtains drew back, I sat back in my chair expecting the next couple of hours to be very boring.

Half an hour later we were all still watching the adverts that come before the film. Maybe somebody should tell the cinema that we only came to watch a film and that we really don't give a damn about all the adverts.

I thought that the film overall was quite predictable.
It was about an eleven-year-old boy called Billy. He came from a single parent family in a mining town. His mum has died a few years before. His dad and older brother were on the mining strike, as the film is set in about 1972. Every weekend Billy would go to boxing. In the room as the boxing ring a lady would teach ballet.
Billy got really interested in the ballet and started going to that instead of boxing.
He knew that if his dad found out he would get the beating of his lifetime. As ballet 'is for girls'. Well that is what they thought back then anyway.
Billy becomes really good at ballet, and his dad finally finds out and realizes that Billy should have the chance to make something of his life.
The film ends with Billy grown up performing in London at a massive ballet play.

Although the film was very predictable it was still very good. I was kept interested in it all the way and i would highly recommend in you going to see it.
There was a lot of bad language but it was used well to show the background of the fami
ly and set the scene about the area.

There were also some funny but in it too.

This film gets a good point across and is well worth the fiver to get in and see it.

You should write about the film more than the cinema experience! Big deal if the adverts bored you!

Very useful because I enjoyed reading it. That is my genuine opinion. Honestly.
