The film starts off in the interrogation scene in a Mumbai jail, and tells the story in flashback, Kashyap creatively numbering the stages leading upto the bombing. This is serious cinema at its best, pulse racing and demanding complete attention throughout the movie. I had actually seen the film twice, it seemed overrated the first time i saw it last year, but when i saw it again this year, i found it to be under-rated. Tired of watching run of the mill hindi films? Do you think bollywood films are one dimensional? Black Friday is a movie about the serial bomb blasts that took place in Bombay in 1993, this happened after the demolition of Babri Masjid in December 1992. This blast was very shocking as it took place at the important jucntions of Bombay and at the peak time, taking life of many innocent people & injuring thousands of people. this movie is based on the novel written by Hussain Zaidi.
