Advantages: Lots of fun

Disadvantages: Maybe a little short to actually go anywhere

Shirow has always translated badly to screen. Appleseed was dreadful, Ghost in the Shell was dull and Dominion, whilst entertaining, was far from spectacular. So how do you come over this problem? You get Shirow to direct!

When Sybel, a freelance news reporter, uncovers a secret military operation she discovers a military asassin robot involved in a recent plane crash is on the rampage, levlling much of the armys unit.

In her poking aound, she discovers that the robot is after the creators grand daughter. Beleiving she is the only one to know this, Sybel sets out to save her, but the robot is almost unstoppable...

Based on a segment of his Black MAgic comic book very roughly, this is really in the spirit of the title rather than being a reproduction.

If the plot sounds like The Terminator, thats because it is. The unstoppable M-66 persues its prey just like the T-800. Unlike the T-800, though, the M-66 does not try to remain inconspicous. It will do whatever it need to complete it's mission, including self destruction.

Only 50 minutes longs, M-66 is tight and gripping stuff. It's over before it gets a chance to be dull, and the story is entertaining enough. It's all good fun.

Unfortuneatly it's a little short and doesn't really go anywhere, but never mind.
