This film was released in 2002, it is almost 2 hourts long and not suitable for anyone under the age of 18 Blade the main character is played by wesley snipes, he is half man half vampire, his mother was human his dad a vampire. He wants to stop the curse he was given at birth and save the human race, to do this blade must make friends with some high powered vampires to take on an evil bigger than themselves, the new form of super vampires to save the human race before it is too late. Im not quite sure what to say this film is, it is a kind of action horror mix, there are a lot of action scenes in this film but it is also a bit scarey at ... Read the complete review

After the first Blade film made a name for the Series in 1997 it seemed inevitable that Wesley Snipes would be back as the half man/half Vampire for a sequel before too long. The return of Blade came about in 2002 when Snipes linked up with Guillermo Del Toro to carry on the series and bring to life another of Goyer’s scripts after the successful effort of the first Blade movie. As with all sequels the question of whether it would do the series justice and whether it was actually any good were always likely to be raised. The answers come quite quickly and the short answer is that it is certainly a decent film. When a new threat appears Blade (Wesley Snipes) ... Read the complete review

I suppose the great thing with this film is that if you liked the first one you are going to love the sequel and if you hated the original then you are not going to watch this one! The basic premise is the same, Blade (Wesley Snipes) is the half-human half-vampire, vampire slayer. This time round Blade is cooler, more stylish with smarter weapons and better locations. He is searching for Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), the man who raised him as a child and taught him how to overcome his vampire side. Whistler has been captured by the vampire nation and Blade is hoping to find him and convert him back to his human form. The film opens in a blood bank ... Read the complete review

Following the successful adaptation of comic book vampire hunter Blade in 1998, directed by Stephen Norrington, dark and moody director Guillermo De Toro takes over for the sequel, cunningly entitled Blade II. Wesley Snipes reprises his role as the title character, the half-vampire half-human Blade, with his sworn dedication to rid the world of vampires. With a bigger budget and a lot more promise, big expectations were of this film, and while it was cordially received by critics, I thought it was very well made and was also full of one-liners. When I first saw the film, it was with a group of friends, and we delighted in films of this nature - a good action ... Read the complete review

Blade was one of the greatest action films of all time when it was originally released back in 1998, and today it still remains my favourite film. So, can Blade 2, the sequel, deliver a film as fast and frantic as the original? Read on to find out…. Blade, played by Wesley Snipes, is actually based on a character from Marvel Comics, which has been turned into two feature length movies. Just in case you are reading this without having seen either of the two films, I’ll outline the main plot of the original first. Blade has a dark past. When his mother was pregnant with him, a vampire bit her, and as a result, Blade was born half human, half ... Read the complete review
