Advantages: Only £9.99, Action Packed starring Wesley Snipes, Excellect Special Effects

Disadvantages: I think i may prefer the alternate deleted ending, Not Enough blood (maybe?)

Blade uses his superhuman powers, his brilliant weaponry, and most importantly, his skills to defeat Deacon Frost and the other vampires. Together with the special effects, and the superb sound track, wesley snipes makes this film come to life.

Blade is a blood chilling, action packed thriller about modern day vampires unlike any other previously encountered. Wesley Snipes is BLADE, the ultimate vampire hunter, and immortal warrior who possesses the superhuman strength and cunning of a vampire without any of their weaknesses.

Blade, being able to walk by day, and stalk by night, must confront his ultimate adversary, the ultimate vampire overlord Deacon Frost. His intent is to lead an underground legion of vampires to conquer mankind. Blade must use his awesome powers and razor-like weaponry like never before to prevent the annihilation of the entire human race.

I purchased it from my local store and now I am positive that almost every store sells Blade for just £9.99 now.

-= My Thought =-
I bought Blade because i watched it on Sky a couple of months ago, and love the action that is involved. I decided to buy blade on DVD because i love films with wesley snipes in them, and i had heard of the extra features that are included on the DVD. I particualy liked this one because of the deleted scenes(especially the ending). After seeing the deleted ending, i am not sure which i prefered, the normal ending, or the one with the enemy turning into a blob of goo, supposedly the devil.
At the end of the film, Blade, decides not to take the offer of becoming a total human being, with no special powers, and could not regenerate himself.

I have also heard that Blade 2, also starring Wesley Snipes, is due to be released in 2002.

The plot is:
After an accident triggers the deadly "Blood Tide," human/vampire warrior Blade must find a way to reverse the process and save the world which has been completely overrun by vampires.

Although something that confuses me about Blade 2, is that the character "Whistler" is still in it. The thing is that "Whistler" died in Blade, by shooting himself in the head.

Overall, Blade is a excellent movie.
