Advantages: 5 star performance from a 5 star cast

Disadvantages: I can't think of any!

Once again an extraordinary performance for Leonardo DiCaprio - is there any role (or accent for that matter!) that he cannot do?!

This film for me was not so much about the action and the story of the diamond but about Danny Archer (Leonardo DiCaprio's) and his life in Africa, his struggle, in general. His character, on the one hand a murdering cold blooded killer, also capable of betraying the innocent and decent Solomen down to the last second, but on the other hand an orphaned boy, forced to join the army and fight at such a young age, having witnessed such horrific things, in a desparate struggle to survive and with a dream to one day escape Africa. You watch as you wait to see if in the end the small bit of human decency he has left will prevail, and if he will go from villain to hero.

Truly moving and definitley worth watching!

Summary: Not to be missed!
