Advantages: Plesent to watch witht he family

Disadvantages: lacked older humour

I found that Bolt was a fun loving film suitable for family members of all ages. its voice over stars we're well suited to the charactors and i personally thought that using Mylie Cyrus was a wise choice, bringing a familiarity to the film. The story follows Bolts journey of self discovery from his shelterd life being led through love and friendship. Bolt is a supperdog for one of tvs popular shows, however a dip in ratings forces the network to try something never done before, flinging Bolt into an array of confusion, causing his to cross over into the 'real world' were he still thinks he has use of the 'superpowers' he has on set. The scripting was simple and easy to understand for younger members of the audience, although i did feel it lacked a small portion of slightly older humour to keep those with a less youthfull thought pattern interested and felt that this was missed as Disney managed to sneak it in so well in some of its oher films. The animation was well presented although simple in features, along a simular standard to Walt Disneys 'The Incrediables'. All in all I felt it was a good family sit down film, but isnt something I could watch over and over like some of Disneys other animated films. I would reccomend giving it a try though.

Summary: The little dog who lived his life as a superdog on a tv set crosses over into the real world
