I hadn't seen the first Boogeyman so I wasn't sure whether watching the sequel first was a good idea, but it was on TV and I like my horror films so I decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought this was going to be just another trashy teen slasher horror, but it turned out to have a bit more substance than I expected. The Boogeyman 2 was released 2007 but I don't remember it being on at the cinema so I thought it must be pretty bad to be on Freeview a year later. It's directed by Jeff Betancourt who also directed films in a similar genre such as The Grudge & The Exorcism Of Emily Rose, along with others like Get Over It.
