Baron Sasha Cohen is the Oxford educated actor who created the characters of Ali G, Borat and Bruno.

I have been following this actor since the early days, when he was doing programmes on TV. In the old days it was Ali G, then Borat, and finally Bruno.

Who is Borat?
Borat is a fictitional character,a journalist from Kazakhstan, he is homophobic, naive, off course funny, and he does not like Jews (Baron Sasha Cohen is Jew)

The movie is based around the trip that Borat makes in USA, where he was sent to make a documentary, but he finds Pamela Anderson on TV and decides to go to California to meet her (in fact kindap her!)

Shot like a documentary, while Borat and his assistant travel in a funny van across USA, the movie is a cult between my friends.

"Hello mainame Borat" as he says when he introduces himself. His English is extremely funny.Since watching this movie and the many clips on TV, my boyfriend does not stop saying that he wants to "make romance in my vagina" (there is a great scene where Borat goes to a meeting with 3 feminists and I was laughing to my tears when he starts explaining that in "his country" the leading scientist proved that women brain is smaller than a scientist's)

We watched the movie when he came at the cinema, and later we bought the DVD.

Actually I think the best scene is on the DVD, a scene which did not make it in the movie, when Borat goes to a supermarket and in front of a shelf full of cheese ask the shop manager to describe each item, repeating "what is this?" and the shop manager duly answers "it is cheese" at least 50 times!

This is a great movie to watch, you will never think of USA in the same way after watching it, the stupidity of many of the Americans that Borat met is abysmal, famous is the scene when Borat gets a lift in a motorhome with 3 guys on holiday from college!

As Borat says "Very niceee"
