A review of the 'Cult Collection' DVD, which costs a mere £5 on amazon. This is a horror film made in the Philippines in 1968. A lot of exploitation films were made there in the 60s and 70s; this film (which spawned several sequels) was quite a big hit in the American drive-ins. Its director, Eddie Romero, made a career in horror flicks in his native country using the resources available, resulting in cheap but fun films that you certainly won't mistake for typical Hollywood fare, but which are still pretty enjoyable.
