I have watched this film so many times over the last few years and i do love it. it is a girly film, my husband does not really like it, he would try and avoid it, as it's a bit too woman orientated for him. its extremely romantic, but renee zelwegger plays the character really well. having read the book, i think that she portrays the character down to perfection. it has some real comedic moments and its quite easy to relate to. its basically the story of a woman that is like most real women, not the hollywood portrayal. she is trying to lose weight, she has problems with her family, she has problems with men, its an uplifting film that will leave you feeling better if you are feeling a little down. its not a very complex story line, as is the way with most typical romantic comedies. one for a girly night.

Summary: best for a girls only get together
