I remember watching this film on terestrial tv when visiting Scotland one year, I was sat in a dingy hotel room with my brother and we were waiting for Match of the Day to come on! We decided to put this film on which has recently started. We immediately recognised Ashley Walters (who plays lead character Ricky) as Asher D from UK hip hop group So Solid Crew, and were pretty amused that he was in a film having never heard of this film before. Bullet Boy is one of the best British films of modern times. Set in inner-city London, Bullet Boy tells the tragic tale of Ricky (Ashley Walters), a recently released young offender who returns to his estate with the hope of starting afresh.
