Dr Kilmore is sacked for being found in an uncompromising situation with the nurses, and the patients revolt. Here is one of the funniest British comedy films ever, starring as always Kenneth Williams and Hatti Jacques. This film came after the success of Carry on Nurse, and shows that even ten years on the idea of comedy in a hospital, and sexually charged, risque comedy at that, is as funny as ever. The fifteenth Carry On film directed by Gerald Thomas and produced by Peter Rogers is often considered to be the best of the bunch, the signature entry to the series of seaside postcard humour with its plethora of regular cast members.
