Besides the films themselves, the discs also include trailers, a stills gallery, trivia, commentary and all the thirteen episodes of the Carry On Laughing TV series. The trivia is sometimes worth a look, but I always enjoy the trailers and there are many rare photos amongst the stills galleries too. I have been a big fan of the Carry On films since I was a child in the 1970s. My Dad loves them too and we used to watch them whenever they came on TV. The cast members were idols of mine and I remember meeting Barbara Windsor at the Theatre Royal in Lincoln, my Dad interviewing Bernard Bresslaw over the telephone - and I recall exactly where we were when we heard Kenneth Williams had died. In the 2000s, I began collecting the Carry On films on DVD, as they were released singularly with extras.
