Disadvantages: No more John Cleese...

The 21st Bond movie and what a long time we all had to wait, was it worth it?...

Absolutely, with intense action packed footage from free running chases to rolling the Aston (a record breaking number of rolls I might add) this film is Bond all over and cracks back onto our screens as if there were never a break.

Controversial new Bond actor Daniel Craig is quite simply magnificent, bringing out the darker side of bond that until now audiences had never been aware of. With steal eyed intensity and a body sculpted out of hard masculine rock (found off the coast of really really hard man bay) Craig has evidently set himself up to take on the fictional MI6 officers role for some time to come.

Alongside the new 007 is the unfathomably beautiful Eva Green as love interest, Vesper. As an actress she appears to have some talent yet to show off and fits into the role easily and raises the temperature in the room with a mere smile. The two cannot take all the credit though as the cast is actually amazing, the casting of Jeffrey Wright as Felix is a spot of genius that made me exude a rye smile like a lazy cat that just watched a mouse get shot.

Expect incredible scenes of action, realistic and yet typical Bondesque fight scenes, wonderful sound design and the glossy finish of a timeless quality that all good bond films should have. With theatrical flash backs into Bonds rise to Operational Officer 7 status and a grueling torture scene this is one not to be missed, if you do miss it expect a visit in the night from the man himself starring the life out of you with his icy brooding countenance. I would have liked to seen a few extra scenes about Bond's past but 144 minutes run time this film is a long but very worthwhile piece of cinema. Boasting awesome location and a gripping script this movie is a phenomenal cinematic experience.

Summary: Daniel Craig says watch this film or he will eat you...
