I think it's safe to say that 'Catch me if you can' is not the typical sort of movie I watch. Sitting down on Easter Monday with nothing else on television, i decided to watch Catch me if you can, starring Leonardo Di Caprio, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg directing. Having heard little about the film, (Shocking i know!) it was only the caption saying it was an Academy Award Nomination that enticed me to watch it. And I was quite glad i did choose to watch it. Catch Me If You Can is a 2002 academy award nominated film directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo Di Caprio. Set in the 1960s the film follows the life of Frank Abagnale Jr (Di Caprio) who cons and cheats his way to a life of luxury and fortune. Catch Me If You Can is a movie based on a true story. Franks life of crime started when Frank Sr (his father) scammed a suit and asked Jr to act as chauffer as daddy goes to the bank for a loan.
