Advantages: three lovely ladies
Disadvantages: its crap
With all the hype that surrounded the release of this movie and after many of my friends telling me about how good it was, when I finally went to see it it was a big anti-climax. The movie lacks any hint of a decent plot and is about as predictable as they come. I know movies are supposed to be unrealistic but this really takes the biscuit. The Drew Barrymore window scene is just taking the p*** out of the audience. I find it hard to take Drew Barrymore seriously in an action role - I just don't think she can pull it off. Neither can cameron Diaz for that matter, and come to think of it neither can Lucy Liu - but she is slightly more tolerable than the others. The best things about this movie are the three main actresses - Cameron Diaz is stunning and you wouldn't kick the other two out of bed either. I would only advise you to go to this movie either if you are a big fan of Matrix-style effects or you have had a large part of your brain removed and cannot tell reality from your imagination. Certainly any sane person with a mental age of over 15 will have trouble accepting this seriously.

- 10/04/01 You say you don't know how anyone can take this seriously.....but why should they , it is a comedy.... |

- 31/03/01 There certainly are some 'also ran' movies around at the moment, but I disagree that this is one. I really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing it again on the 'small screen' circuit! |

- 13/02/01 Rocket science it ain't, predictable it certainly is, but it is also a bit of fun and a spin off from the series not meant to be taken seriously and treated as real life. When it comes down to it, it's just a film and a bit of fun! |
