Ok, ok, you can read my opinion in a sec, but if you go and see this film STAY 'TIL THE END! There's a cracking 'added' section after the credits, that I won't ruin for you here.

Chicken Run is a hilarious combination of brilliant animation, fast moving storyline and witty 'in jokes' for the adults and funny gags for the kids.

The 'heroic' Rocky Rhodes (Mel Gibson) litterally drops from the sky to the aid of the caged chickens, led by Ginger (Julia Swahala) and with the side splitting army-type, 'Fowler' and the Bubbles character too.

The chickens are funny little rotund creatures (as Nick Park seems so fond of) and there's enough of Wallace in the farmer character to remind you fondly of the other Nick Park classics, with Wallace and Grommit.

The film is a must see, there's little all else on at the cinema at the moment, so rather than flood the already over flowing coffers of Mr.Cruise and the Mission Impossible gang, "buy British" (even if Dreamworks are aboard) and go and see Chicken Run. It's highly entertaining and fun and just for a second, admire the animation of the huge 'scenes' and then go back to rolling the aisles as the Chickens try to escape again!
