A review of the film only. This is almost a 'lost' film and has been difficult to get hold of over the years. A Spanish DVD can currently be purchased through amazon, although it's fairly pricey (ebay may be a better bet). You can also check out a poor quality version on google video. Hopefully the rights issues that have kept this film out of circulation for decades will be resolved in our lifetimes, allowing for a decent release. Made in Spain in 1964, this is usually regarded as Orson Welles' last great film. It's a version of Shakespeare's Henry IV parts one and two, with elements from Henry V thrown in.
