It was broadcast between 1976 - 1979, and If you watched TV in the 70s then this was one of those weird yet charming animated series. Chorlton and the Wheelies was a creative and bizarre animated children's television programme broadcast in the late 1970's. The second series was really much like the first, the lead character was a Happiness Dragon named Chorlton, who lived in Wheelie World, surrounded by it's inhabitants, The Wheelies (basically faces on wheels, from memory!). The baddie was Fenella the witch, who lived in a kettle, and spied on the wheelies through a long telescope.
