Cinderella is a classic Disney film that most children will have watched at some point - it is the fairytale type story and is the 12th animated film made by Disney. The story: Cinderella lives with her step mum and two step sisters Anastasia and Drizella and after her father passed away they were all left living in their huge home together. Cinderella is Disney's take on the classic fairytale, complete with singing mice, stroppy cats and interfering parents. As with many of their older works, the animation and artwork does not to compare with their newer films. It can look quite washed out and a bit flat, which younger children may find off putting for them. The story itself is a very charming tale of Cinderella's tale, but to modern viewers, it may feel a little flat. Comic relief comes in the form of squabbling ugly sisters, daring mice and the bumbling king. The humour feels very tame nowadays, and the songs are similarly, dare I say it, quaint. When I was younger, I loved Disney films, and to this day I still love them. Although I preferred the animal films, I did quite enjoy the more 'Disney Princess' ones too. One of these was Cinderella. Plot: Cinderella is seen dressed in rags as she is forced to clean the house non-stop for her 'ugly step sisters' and step mother. When Cinderella was young she was with her father and her father got married again. married to a woman with two daugther just like Cinderella's age. Their name are Crisella and Drisella.
