Ok i'll start by saying when i first heard about this movie i thought how could a movie about convienence store workers be interesting, but my friend convinced me to watch it anyways.
And i am very glad that she did!!
for this is the movie that started my love of all things Kevin Smith

The film follows the life of 2 guys called Dante and Randal they work as clerks (hence the title)If you have ever worked in shop you would understand what these 2 go through!!!

This is the first film in director and writer Kevin Smith's New jersey trilogy which is soon to be a quintet after new film Jay and silent Bob strikes back is finished.
It is a good way to introduce you to the world of Kevin Smith.

One of the thing that make this film work so well is the honesty of the 2 main characters.
You can really believe people have days like these 2 have.

Ok maybe you wouldn't play hockey on the roof of your shop, or close up shop to go to a funeral.Or even be as rude as Randal is!!
But you will understand why Dante and Randal get frustrated.

The tag line of this movie
is "Just because they serve you doesn't mean they like you" I couldn't agree more!

Good opinion, though I thought there already were 4 movies rather than 3 (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy & Dogma).
