Long before 'Mean Girls' there was 'Clueless'. Released in 1995 and starring a certain Alicia Silverstone at its helm, 'Clueless' tells the tale of a group of girls who are just too cool for school. If you're a fan of the hit series 'Scrubs' then you'll notice that Dr. Turk features here as well, aka Donald Faison. It's a classic of the 90s, a fantastic comedy film with a good helping of romance to boot. It progresses well and contains a great deal of humour throughout in order to help keep you entertained at all times. Ahhh the Days of Clueless! Whatever!! I remember the days way back in the 90s, after seeing the film I remember saying 'Whatever' for about two weeks straight, I demanded a wardrobe which moved on its own, I wanted to send all my stuff I hardly used and loads of tins to worse off countries and I became obsessed with hats!! lol... I am having a bit of a love for watching some of the 90's films I have on DVD at the moment. So here is a review for Clueless. This film was out in 1995 and there was also a TV series made of it later. Clueless was written and directed by Amy Heckerling. Clueless is very loosely based on Jane Austen's Emma. The story focuses on Cher (Alicia Silverstone) a popular, rich and very pretty 15 year old high school student. Clueless is probably the best teen film of the 90s. It has everything a good teen romcom should have! Beverly Hills girl Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is rich, popular and gorgeous. Plus she has a wardrobe to die for! She lives in a mansion with her father who is a hot shot lawyer. Everyone at school worships the ground Cher walks on and she and her best friend Dionne like nothing more than driving around Beverly Hills or going shopping.
