This film is one the first films I remember watching in my childhood - this science fiction film is a classic 80s film and one not to be missed!

The overall plot is about a group of elderly people in a nursing home that get rejuvenated by aliens. The aliens have returned on a rescue mission get a hidden secret back that has been laying at the bottom of the ocean for thousands of years.The film is full of love and friendship, but also brings along sadness and happiness at the same time. I feel like I do not want to give away the plot too much as this will give away the excitement - but the aliens and their human allies are on a time limit to get the cocoons back to the rescue ship.

The fact the film is based around elderly people and an old people's home is very much unusual i would say - but one that is used oh so well in this film - i think this adds warmth and compassion to the film that is often lacking in today's society.

Well worth a watch, that will keep your attention, even though it has 80's picture quality
