Bad Santa (DVD) ... watched this film last night on TV with my father in law. I had seen it before, but for him, it was the first time. The two of us were in absolute hysterics at this completely unpolitically correct film, laden with jokes, other humour, violence, sex and a shedload of swearing. Billy Bob Thornton plays Willie, the Bad Santa of the title, and together with his elf (dwarf), played brilliantly by Tony Cox, he plans each year a different department store to rob just around the Xmas period. Elf (DVD) ... is an excellent film to watch before or on Christmas day as it s full of Christmas childlike cheer. In our home we watch it xmas eve to get us in the mood for the big day. It seems to build excitement as you watch the childlike innocence of infectious Buddy the Elf.
