Con Air has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Great action with a slice of drama is for me a perfect movie. The story line is as follows. Nicolas Cage is a war veteran who just wants to lead a normal life. On the day of his return with his wife, a group of alcoholics start of a fight over his wife. Nicolas Cage happens to be the unlucky one to kill one of the guys and therefore he is send to prison. When his time in prison is over his flight back is terrorised by the worse crimenals in the USA. Here the action starts and the fight to retake the plane back is a tough one. The music of the film is wisely chosen the special effects arent to extreme. ... Read the complete review

Cage plays Cameron Poe accused and jailed ex-marine who serves couple of years behind the bars for killing a guy in a brawl. Brave Poe was just trying to protect his wife but that's not the case for the judge. After seven years Cameron became eligible for parole and can now go home to his wife and daughter. Unfortunately he has to share a prison airplane with some of the most dangerous criminals in the country (including Cyrus Grissom - great John Malkovich), who somehow took control of the plane and are now planning to escape the country with the plane. Cameron has to find a way to stop them while playing along. The Blu-ray version crushes the DVD version. ... Read the complete review
