Advantages: Almost as good as the book

Disadvantages: Set in America not in England

i have to admit i wasn't looking forward to watching this film just due to that i have read all five books and they were so great, but i'm really happy i did Isla Fisher plays Becky Bloomwood so well and you just can't help but laugh and Hugh Dancy is amazing has Luke Brandon (he's very good looking), some bits are different in the book and they do miss a few things out but i think that it just about copes without them. The only thing that i wasn't to sure on was Joan Cusack playing the mother she's a great actress but Isla and Joan just wasn't convincing in my eyes. John Goodman does however play the dad well but again Joan and John just not convincing. I do hope they bring out another film of confessions. P.S. they do have deleted scences on the DVD which are very good because they do add abit more of the book in there, just one more thing it is set in America not England and Becky Bloomwood is so English.

Summary: Very good just a little dissapointing
