This film is about a man called Jake Vig and a group of con-artists and they are about to pull the greatest con yet. However the plan back-fires and can only rely on himself to sort everything out. The acting is good. Ed Burns (plays the lead role in the film) does a good job as playing a lead role and Dustin Hoffman appears a few times, showing his great performance. The sexy female con-artist is entertaining. All the actors/actresses make the film fun and enjoyable. The plot is complexed and convoluted. I think the story was thought out very well and you can' make out what's going to happen at the end. However the film isn't really about much, but ... Read the complete review

?Confidence? was a movie I was keen to go to the cinema to see last year when it came out. The trailers were good, the cast looked great, and I went along. The main star is Ed Burns, who seems to be hot stuff right now. He has already starred with Tom Hanks in ?Saving Private Ryan? and with Robert de Niro in ?Fifteen minutes?. He has the look of a grittier Ben Affleck but, in my opinion, and many others, is a much better actor. Burns has written and directed his own feature films (?Sidewalks of New York? is probably the best known), so he?s much more than just an actor in any case.
