Advantages: a fun night with the girls

Connie and Carla is such a great feel good movie it is written by the writer and star of My Big Fat Greek Wedding (Nia Vardalos). A little known film I think, and we only came across it by chance, however a great little find. This film made us laugh out loud, and is a nice fun movie. C & C accidentally witness a mafia hit and they run scared out of town for L.A., where they go undercover as singers working in the city's dinner theatre circuit ... as, wait for it - drag queens!! They become big hits on the drag scene, and have to hide the fact they are women. Things get more difficult when Connie meets Jeff, a man she'd like to be a woman with. One for the girls, or the gay guys I guess! Grab a bottle of wine, a bag of popcorn and get the girls round.

Summary: get the face packs on and crack open the wine
