I remember going to see this film at the cinema. I went along with a few friends and knew nothing about the film so had no idea of what to expect. Needless to say, I was very impressed. Have been meaning to get round to reviewing this for ages, so now am going to get on with it al last!

Crash came out back in 2004. It was an instant hit at the box office. The film won three Oscars and countless other awards and an unbelievable number of nominations. The film was directed by Paul Haggis and stars Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillion any many other people you will have seen before in various films down the years.

Usually at this point in my reviews I write a brief overview of what the film is about. But with Crash that is not quite so easy. The film follows the lives of several different people in Los Angeles, all with very different backgrounds and very different lives. The film shows how there lives are connected and the outcome of decisions they make in life and how they affect other people. That really is the best I can do when it comes to telling you the story.

I enjoyed this film so much. It is beautifully shot, the director does a wonderful job. The acting is excellent, some really classy performances and yet I would not say one actor stands out, they all work together to make this what it is. The story is very clever, there are lots of twists and turns that you don't expect and it really does get you thinking.

Some of the scenes towards the end of the film are very moving. You get emotionally involved with the characters and you feel like your there experiencing the emotions that they are going through. There is some excellent music to accompany the film and it all comes together really well.

This films really shows you what life can be like for different classes of people, but it shows that no matter who you are we are all driven by the same emotions and desires.

The film runs for 112 minutes which is probably just about right. There is so much going on so you never get bored whilst at the same time its not like there rushing the film.

The film is rated as 15. There is quite a lot of strong language and some adult themes that could easily offend people. So this is not one to watch if you are easily upset by such things.

The DVD itself has everything you would expect from a film like this. Trailers etc... But you should buy this for the film itself not the extra bits on the DVD!!

Overall this is a wonderful film. A really clever film that is quite inspiring in many ways. I have seen this a few times and I always enjoy it, and I am sure I will watch it again in the future. If you have never seen this film its really one you should give a try! Go and watch Crash!
