I have liked CSI for quite a long time but never actually religiously watched it week after week. In fact to be perfectly honest despite really enjoying the programme I have only ever really watched the odd episode here and there. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is the US TV drama series which started in 2000 and portrays a fictional forensic crime team as they attend crime scenes and attempt to solve crimes. Each season is shown first of all on TV, and then released on DVD in two parts. The first part of the first season essentially set the scene, explaining what the characters do and ultimately introducing them and giving us as viewers a little background on them.
