Cut throat island is a fairly enjoyable pirate movie.Its about a piratess and her rougue assistant who try to discover where her fathers treasure has been hidden,unfortunatley some of her co pirates think they should have the treasure and make it there buisness to try and stop her.Genna davies and Mathew modine make a excelllent team as the comicly search for the treasure and attempt to out wit each other,its sort of like a pre pirates of the carabiean movie to be honest.It is however action packed ,it rarley slows downs and is very entertaining.Although in the begining the map is written on a scalp the film is not gory and suitable for children,the story rounds it self of nicely,i would recomend this film to people who have enjoyed the piates of the carabiean movies ,indiana jones and the allan quatermain movies,this is a true swashbuckeling genius that will keep you and the kids entertained for hours
